What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

"Get better interviewers who don’t hate themselves." More from this Member | Report Response

"Honestly nothing - the admissions office gets back to you super quick through emails and also makes an admission decision by the end of the week you interview (this is SO nice!). I'm really hoping I get into this school because this is somewhere I want to attend being my first choice school so I hope I get that A!!!!" More from this Member | Report Response

"I wish I didn't have to give them a deposit to hold my seat by November 15, because I have other interviews scheduled in December and January and would hate to forfeit a seat and then not get another acceptance. Don't know if they can change the date though." More from this Member | Report Response

Overall, how satisfied are you with this program?

Response Avg # Responders
9.00 1

0 = Terrible, 10 = World Class

What do you like most?

"Professors are super approachable and open. Each professor really takes your input to heart and changes the coursework for the classes, and gives feedback to the next class on what was changed. It gets annoying receiving "required evals" from the school, but it really does help build for the future classes. The equipment for OPP is STELLAR and the videos/techniques are being incorporated to schools across the nation. This school is even pioneering other medical schools in that department and the staff are actually well known in the field. There were no expenses wasted in the school and everything is top-notch, school-of-the-future." | Report Response

What do you like least?

"Some of the OPP department are very.... non-lenient to any issues going on and often do off the wall questions for exams. Finances are out of our control due to it being pre-accreditation and not eligible for federal funding until 2022. when the first class graduates. Research is semi limited due to some of the local hospitals being "anti-DO" but most are starting to come around to it." | Report Response

About the LizzyM Score

LizzyM, SDN Moderator and medical school admissions committee member, is the inventor of the LizzyM Score. The score allows you to see if you are a competitive applicant at a given school. If your LizzyM Score is far below or above the average, you may not be a good fit. If your score is far below, your application may be screened out due to numerical cutoffs. If it is far above, the school may assume they are your “safety” school and that you won’t attend if they offer an acceptance. This score should be used only as a guide to help you select schools and is not a guarantee of acceptance at any school. If you use this as your sole criteria to select medical schools to apply to, you don’t deserve to get in anyway.
